We had a great experience with James on our daughter's newborn shoot. He was very calm and patient with her, as well as with our 1.5 year old toddler. The shoot was conducted in our home which made things much more comfortable, and James was able to set everything up so we didn't feel like the shoot was compromised from not being in a studio. We recently engaged James for a newborn photography session after reviewing several photographers, and we were drawn to his beautiful style. The photoshoot took place at his cozy home, where everything was thoughtfully prepared for us. James was incredibly meticulous and patient with our newborn, ensuring the baby was comfortable before starting each shot. The photoshoot took longer as baby took a while to settle down but James was not rushing through and was so patient throughout. James is a very professional photographer who has high expectations of himself and one who puts his heart into the work he delivers. He ensures that his client feels comfortable by providing a briefing on how the photoshoot would be conducted, engaged in small talks and patiently guiding my husband and I on the poses etc throughout our maternity photoshoot. We’ve engaged James twice for our 2 kids and he has always done such a great job with the newborn photography! He is super patient and is willing to work with the babies and give them time to settle down so he can take the perfect shot. He never rushes us and always checks in to ensure the baby needs are met - well fed, needs a diaper change etc. His professionalism and dedication to his craft never ceases to amaze me. I also like that his shots are more artistic and whimsical than the typical newborn shoots.
